Underwater Cathedral
A collaboration between Dominique Ovalle and Jacqueline Bell Johnson. Three loops of a video that Dominique filmed while snorkeling in Jellyfish Lake in Palau project around the space. The jellyfish in this lake have evolved to not sting, by being isolated in this lake without predators for millenia. The space has drapes of fabric in shades of teal blue and purple, which change the feel of the room and further reflect the colors in the projections. This was a one night only event that occurred at Claremont Graduate University in December 2012.
